What a wonderful website! So new, so fresh, so empty. It is an empty canvas waiting to be painted on. And we will paint. TPC’s youth, EM, whatever we one day might be called, is full of wonderfully creative people. Just as we might stare at this website, not knowing what this might become, we look to God in anticipation for what he is doing and will do. Will you join us in being the creative force that God called us to be?
Taken from Andy Crouch’s Culture Making: all mankind is created in God’s image, and the image we primarily see in the opening chapters of Genesis is of our great Creator. He makes a space (a garden) to be creative in (he calls the man and the woman to both cultivate). This is one of our spaces here at TPC. May we be wonderfully creative in it, bringing glory to the one who has called us out of darkness into his glorious light (1 Peter 2:9).
